Greg Albrecht, Co-Founder and CTO of Orion Labs, Inc. With an extensive background in technology infrastructure and software development across the public safety industry, Albrecht has designed and constructed several high-availability software solutions for large volume use. In addition to his work with Orion, he is also an active EMT.
Albrecht will be featured in the session, “Going ‘Over the Top’: The Future of 3D Location Technology and Benefits for Public Safety,” at the IACP Technology Conference 2019. In partnership with Samsung and Polaris Wireless, the workshop will focus on the value of 3D location technology across the public safety industry and will address the ability to locate first responders in multi-story buildings and other structures with pinpoint accuracy.
Orion recently announced Advanced Location Services, the first high-accuracy, carrier-independent 3D location platform delivered using Polaris Wireless. With Advanced Location Services, Orion provides enterprises and public safety agencies with pinpoint location, both indoors and in high-rise buildings, with floor-level and room-level accuracy. The integration delivers enhanced situational awareness and improved operational efficiency in GPS-deprived environments by tracing the location of Orion managed devices. Orion also recently integrated the Orion Voice Platform with Samsung Galaxy and Samsung DeX devices.
Albrecht will speak alongside Manlio Allegra, Co-Founder and CEO of Polaris Wireless, Eddie Reyes, Chairman of IACP’s Communications and Technology Committee, and Reginald Jones, Director of Public Safety Sales and Solutions for Samsung.
