In the past two years, several initiatives have emerged – including (but not limited to) Apprente, Avaya, AWS, Cisco, Huawei, Microsoft, RingCentral, Orion Labs, Phobio, Plantronics, Voicea (formerly Voicera) and Vonage – that are exploring options in HCI outside the conventional keyboard and touchscreen input for enterprise use cases. Key verticals and use cases for Orion Labs include those that have traditionally relied on PTT and two-way radios, including hospitality, transportation, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, construction and public safety.
