The cloud-managed, LTE-connected Push-to-Talk (PTT) wearable is recognized for enabling enterprise-level distributed teams with a groundbreaking communication solution with unlimited range. An Edison Award has become one of the highest accolades a company can receive in the name of innovation and business. The awards are named after Thomas Alva Edison (1847-1931) whose inventions, new product development methods and innovative achievements literally changed the world, garnered him 1,093 U.S. patents, and made him a household name around the world.
“The winners created innovations that are revolutionizing industries and becoming indispensable. Orion Sync was recognized as a true innovator out of the many products in its category,” said Frank Bonafilia, Executive Director of the Edison Awards.
The ballot of nominees for the Edison Awards was judged by a panel of more than 3,000 leading business executives including past award winners, academics and leaders in the fields of product development, design, engineering, science, and healthcare.
“Orion Sync is a giant leap forward in the ongoing transformation of businesses driven by voice. We are honored to receive the 2019 Edison Award in the Materials Science and Engineering category,” said Jesse Robbins, CEO and Founder of Orion. “The device gives customers a powerful, fully managed, ease-of-use solution that works with our advanced voice bots, translation features, and business workflows.”
